The City of Kapolei, one of the newest urban centers in the United States, is at the center of the fastest growing area in the State of Hawaii. It is uniquely located within a master planned region of over 32,000 acres on the western portion of Hawaii’s most populous island of O’ahu. Since ground was broken for the City of Kapolei in 1990, the population in the region has more than doubled to 115,000 and is projected to reach over 170,000 by 2035. During that same period, business and government investment in the Kapolei region will help create an estimated 104,000 jobs and add commercial square footage that will rival urban Honolulu.
